What I enjoy in my free time: Anything involving movies or Walt Disney.

What has had the greatest impact upon me personally since Jesus entered my heart and life: The greatest impact is the Faith and Grace that was exercised by moving to Texas to help start Flourish City Church.  That single occurrence has probably brought the most growth and blessing to my Christian walk than anything else up to this time.

The part(s) of the Flourish City Church vision that stands out most to me: The best part of the Flourish City Church Vision is the idea of excellence.  Excellence means that we strive for perfection, but leave a margin for grace.  Here, at Flourish, we aim for Excellence as a way loving and bringing Grace into the lives of people versus striving for excellence on the basis of performance.

Family: I have an awesome husband. We have been married for 18 years. We met in Bible College.

What I enjoy in my free time: I learned that it’s not what you spend your time doing, rather who you spend that time with. I love classic movies and beach locations, especially with my husband.

What has had the greatest impact upon me personally since Jesus entered my heart and life: I would have to say, that I have never gotten over God’s introduction to me. That impact has permanently altered the course of my life. I will never be the same.

The part(s) of the Flourish City Church vision that stands out most to me: The thing about the Vision of Flourish City Church, is just the sheer immensity of it; and how it is poised to minister to anyone and everyone at every level. When going over the Vision, I have heard Pastor Michael say many times that it takes his breath away. I guess that’s what they mean when they say, “If you think you can do it, your vision is probably too small.”

Danny Quinlan

 Position: Associate Pastor, Flourish Music

Areas of Responsibility: Flourish Discipleship Division: Flourish Worship, Flourish Music

Family: Born in a musician/missionary family, I was blessed to have my entire family involved in worship and missions, making the name of God known in places all around the world.

What I enjoy in my free time: I enjoy spending time writing music and songs and I am passionate about the creative process.

What has had the greatest impact upon me personally since Jesus entered my heart and life: The greatest impact was the total restoration God brought about in my life. It is amazing to see that I am no longer the person I once was. God, indeed, changed my entire life, my perspective–everything, and I was left with my true identity as to who I am in Him, only. So the greatest impact and testimony I have, can be seen in the person I am today and His continuous faithfulness for who He has called me to be in the future.

The part(s) of the Flourish City Church vision that stands out most to me: As a one of its main values, Flourish City Church is dedicated to developing a healthy church. Secondly, is the excellence that is called for in the Vision. I have come to know the heart of each Pastor, and how they truly care and love all of whom God sends them. This is what stood out the most to me and made me want to be part of that too.

Education: I graduated as a Worship Major at Christ For The Nations in Dallas. Currently, I am studying Worship Leadership at The Kings University, Gateway Church Campus, in Southlake, TX, graduating in December, 2017.

Areas of Involvement: Flourish Worship, Office of CFNI Liaison

Family: Single

What I enjoy in my free time: I love to be around people, especially if I can have a cup of coffee, chamomile tea or vanilla ice cream with them. Any of those go very well in a good conversation. I love to read, and I am also a big fan of arts. I am a sports lover and love going to games. Last but not least, I love being in the house of God.

What has had the greatest impact upon me personally since Jesus entered my heart and life: One of the biggest experiences I’ve ever had with the Lord was when I was 11 years old. It was then that I asked Him to reveal Himself to me–I asked Him to live inside of me, and was water baptized. I did not want to be His “granddaughter” just because my parents were Christians. I wanted to be a daughter; I wanted to have my own relationship with God. Since that time, He’s been my best friend, caring for every single area of my life.

The part(s) of the Flourish City Church vision that stands out most to me: The Pastors and Staff at FCC have a unique and special way of showing their genuine love for the Lord and for people. There is no way they can’t get your heart. And, I absolutely love the fact that they selflessly build people up through the love of Jesus.
